Never do anything for money. Do it for love. To be supersuccessful you have to love what you are doing. Find a career you are passionate about. You will need passion to overcome obstacles, recover from setbacks, and make it through the tough times. Sure, money is a scorecard, and it is certainly useful, but it should not be the be-all and end-all. Give your goals substance and assign them value that is not monetary.
